KSN Dan Henning
Assistant Instructor

Dan started training in Kuk Sool Won in 1986 at the Norwich school under JDKJN's Richard Roper and John Ives. He achieved black belt status in 1992 before moving away from the area. After a 13 year break, Dan resumed training again at the Bury St Edmunds school under PKJN Richard Jones. He now trains regularly again and has now achieved second degree status and is working towards third degree.

He also acts as an instructor taking his own class of 3 to 5 year old junior "dragons", as well as assisting PKJN Richard with other juniors and lower belt adults. Dan has three young children; Eleanor, Jack and Ronnie who are all progressing through the ranks at Bury St Edmunds school.

Dan appreciates Kuk Sool for the fitness and discipline attributes, and particularly enjoys form practice and weapons aspects. He also finds teaching the Dragons rewarding and hopes that they will progress to higher belts with excellent foundation skills.
