J.K.N Alan Coldwell started his martial arts training at the age of 15 where he tried various different styles, but discovered kuk sool won in 2001.
He achieved the rank of black belt in may 2006.He now brings his two sons Harry (8) and Charlie (6) who are enjoying the classes very much and hopes that one day they will too follow in his footsteps and achieve black belts of their own.
Alan has taken part in many tournaments always doing well but the gold medals were just out of reach. But in 2006 he achieved his first gold medal which made all the hard work worth while.
