SBN Richard Morgan Jones has been training in Martial Arts for just over 21 years, he opened a school near Bury just over 12 years ago, and says it is the best thing he could have done for his own training and for helping to introduce others to this great Martial Art.
SBN Richard instructs three sessions a week at King Edward VI Upper School. This location was chosen due to its exceptional facilities. Classes are held in a large, modern and fully equipped sports hall. Changing rooms and showers are located adjacent to the hall and there is plenty of free on-site car parking space. During the summer months there is the added bonus of being able to train outside on the sports field as well.
As a result of SBN Richard demonstrating the style, one local Headmaster was so impressed that he has engaged SBN Richard to teach basic self defence courses to his Sixth Form. Many pupils have become so interested that they have joined Kuk Sool classes.
SBN Richard spends lots of time every year going on the seminar tour with the grand master and other masters helping to spread Kuk Sool all over the UK. He has also been to the USA on 8 occasions. He holds 16 UK titles and 2 UK Grand Championship titles. He went to Korea last October to further enhance his skills and instructing techniques and was specially trained by the Grand Master.
Bury St. Edmunds school has also achieved accolades in recent tournaments for the overall school points. SBN Richard was extremely proud of his students who achieved 4th place at both the European and Spanish Championships and 2nd place at the British Championships.
